Dr. Walsh
Dr. Walsh is one of our primary dentists at Health Centered Dentistry of Anchorage. He received his DDS from the University of Washington and is licensed in Washington as well as Alaska. But Alaska is definitely his home and he has practiced in Anchorage area for 31 years.
He has pursued hundreds of hours of advance training in the areas of mercury removal, composite and cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment and Oral Systemic Balance® therapy. He has provided mercury-free dentistry since 1984.
Dr. Walsh states. “At Health Centered Dentistry I am driven by a single obsession: to provide biological dentistry at the highest level of excellence. I partner with you to satisfy your most demanding concerns. This is accomplished by performing an extensive initial interview and examination. This exam appointment is followed with a consultation explaining the present condition of your mouth and involving you in a values clarification process to determine ideal solutions for you. I desire a long term, mutually interdependent relationship. My goal for you is optimal dental and overall health. The honor of providing services for you is my greatest pleasure.”
Dr. Walsh is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and is certified in Oral Systemic Balance® therapy. He is an avid gardener and photos of his garden have been published in magazines and newspapers. He loves cross country and downhill skiing. He is married and has 2 grown children.
Dr. Clint Henrie
Clint Henrie provides mercury amalgam removal using safe protocol, general dentistry, root canals. Cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He enjoys seeing children and adults alike. He received his DMD from the University of Louisville. He loves the outdoors and frequently enjoys biking, hiking and skiing in the greater Anchorage area and throughout Alaska.
He also an avid photographer, and likes hiking in Alaska back country to photograph Alaska's amazing wildlife. He has a wonderful wife, Heidi, who is a dental hygienist. They have two young children.
Dr. Henrie appreciates the fact that at Health Centered Dentistry of Anchorage patients have the freedom to have treatment they feel is best for their own health. Listening to the patient concerns is very important to Dr. Henrie. He appreciates the loving, supportive staff at HCD, and the fact that they all care deeply for every patient. He grateful to be in an office that has every patient's best interests at heart.
Dr. Greg Bragiel
Dr. Greg Bragiel received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Ohio State University School of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio. He is a progressive, biological dentist and has pursued over 600 hours of continuing education in the last ten years alone. Dr. Bragiel provides mercury filling removal using safe protocol and immune system support, working closely with your general health practitioner. He also provides cosmetic and comprehensive care, including tooth colored fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and dental implants. Dr. Bragiel has advanced training for treatment of jaw joint pain and related bite problems. His goal is to help you and your family make informed decisions about your dental health and accomplish your dental goals.
Dr. Bragiel’s interests include hiking, motorcycling, photography and backcountry skiing. He is married to Mary Beth and they enjoy backpacking together in Alaska’s great outdoors. He also volunteers as a Boy Scouts of America leader, World-Wide Marriage Encounter leader and Catholic Social Services volunteer. He’s very involved with the Mountaineering Club of Alaska and Alaska Mountain Rescue Group.
Dr. Bragiel states he “loves making people smile.” He appreciates the teamwork and positive attitude at Health Centered Dentistry and the fact that “the entire team is concerned about helping our clients be informed about their dental health decisions”.
David Mishler DDS
Prior to graduation from the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, Dr. Mishler received multiple awards and recognition for his accomplishments in Smile design with anterior veneers, complex treatment planning with implants, and periodontal surgeries.
For the last three years he has working as an associate in Anchorage. He is a member of the Amercan Dental Society, Alaska Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, (AACD). Having passed the written portion of credentialing for AACD, he is now working to complete his last few cases. Dr Mishler is a family dentist who believes even fillings and routine crowns should look as natural as possible, and takes additional effort to get a beautiful result.
Dr. Mishler is a 2010 Invisilign Preferred Provider, which allows him to be listed on the Invisalign website with the other Dr.’s who have met a high level of Invisalign’s educational and clinical competencies
Extensive training in implants and bone grafting has been taken, so that he can offer predictable long term solutions for areas with missing teeth.
He is partnering with Dr. Clint Henrie and the associates of Health Centered Dentistry to continue the commitment of education, compassion, and thorough and comprehensive dentistry.
